Artist Statement my name is mandy ashby,aged 48 years,i have two children.I am a full time mom,and in this day and age i think is a special place to be in life.My children are growing up now my youngest daughter is 16 now,and so far i have kept my art as an hobby.I have started selling my art prints on line,and i am now ready to start selling my art proffesionaly.I am a self taught artist,i did get into college but then i got pregnant with my daughter,so i decided to be a stay at home mom.and treat my art as a hobby.I also have written a childrens book and is selling on internet too.called mindys adventure with the pussycat witches,playing in the rain,i also make my own lotions and potions,such as soaps ,milk bath etc.I hope one day to sell all my hobbies in a proffessional manner.
