Artist Statement I paint mostly landscape and still life in oil. I paint what catches my eye and it is usually inspired by peace and calm. I hope to somehow impart those feelings on the canvas for the viewer. I have trained classically and love the old masters, but am also inspired by many contemporary artists and from many genres. I enjoy experimenting with different styles and methods.
