Artist Statement Chantal Baez is a 21 year old Syracuse University student double majoring in Art Photography & Creative Writing with a minor in Illustrations. She is also a new published author of her poetry book "Through Dreams Come Nightmares". She has been creating art through photography since the age of nine and then later had taken different art courses such as painting, illustration classes that allowed her to find her passion which is mixing mediums to create what's inside her own world.
