Artist Statement Evan grew up in a small town in Alberta, and oddly enough, still lives there. In a place where the oilfield runs rampant, and in the nearby city of Grande Prairie, workers are attracted from all over the world, there isn't a lot of room for budding artists. But Evan has been able to make it work, freelancing it as a commission-based artist, working for private persons and small companies creating tattoo, deckle, and t-shirt designs, as well as doing album art and making himself available for contact on multiple sites throughout the internet.

Recently, he has created a five-page comic preview for showing to prospective publishers. Evan is always looking for new art/business ventures, so if you have any projects you would like him to look into, please feel free to contact him at jjmckool@hotmail.com. Paid ventures only, of course.
