Artist Statement I was born, raised, and currently reside in New Hampshire. I have a B.F.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting. After graduating I explored the city of Boston for jobs in galleries and museums, which did not work out. I returned to New Hampshire to pursue a Masters Degree in Art Education and now have been teaching Middle School Art. After having my first child, in May 2007, I decided it was time to create art again. As I create, I am inspired by color, texture and layering.
