Artist Statement HI. My name is Randi, and I live in a small town in the Panhandle of Florida. I have five children, ages 3 to 17. I guess that's how this obsession with cameras began. I accidentally got a few great shots of my children, and wanted to learn how that happened. I have done some weddings, outdoor portraits, and a few indoor portraits of friends and family. Stressful as photographing people and events is, it's always exciting to see the result. I am a history buff with a love of old homes, towns, and most especially, cemeteries. Recently, I have focused my attention more in this direction. I also love nature, and long walks through the woods (well, okay "nature trails"!).I have looked at many "stock photography" sites, but I just don't get much pleasure out of photographing for sale signs all day, so I am very excited to have found this site. A MySpace friend, Amy Harrison, actually turned me on to it. She has some GREAT photographs on here, so check her out when you get time!! One final word. PLEASE criticize away. Once again, I am new to this style of photography, and can use all the help I can get.
