Artist Statement I was given my first camera a box brownie whan I was 9 years old.
Even then I had a passion to be a photographer but that wasn"t to be.
After my family were grown I turned to my other passion art and have become quite a well known artist here in my home town.
With the event of Digital cameras and the internet my passion for photography has once again been ignited and my DSLR Sony is never far from my side .
Being able to take a photo download, edit and print without having to wait is just so cool
Many of my photos have become subjects for my paintings .
I love landscapes,flowers and as I live in the old Gold mining town of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia the Old buildings are a favourite subject.
