Description An abstract painting. The first of a series. At the same time an experiment with Painting To Music as some have called it. Kind of like dancing with your paint brush, while the mood may be reflected by the choice of colors, etc. The piece of music in question? The Escapist, an instrumental work by Lenny Ibizarre (maybe you'll be a critic of his music rather than my work). The title of the painting probably gives away that I feel I have captured what appeals to me about The Escapist: A tranquil sense of mystery. As if something were missing, but what? And where did it go? While the circular motion feels like a radar, detecting only calm and empty places.
