Artist Statement Art has played a major part in my life for as long as I can remember. I inherited a natural ability to draw from my father. I further enhanced this gift throughout my childhood. It wasn't until my college years that I expanded my craft to painting.

I received my B.A. in Fine Arts at Elizabeth City State University in 2000. Since then I've experimented with several techniques that include drawing, painting, sculpture, and graphic design. I'm always looking for ways to put a creative twist on everyday situations. I hope that comes across in my work.
