Artist Statement Hello! My name is Sharon K. Shubert aka redladyart. God has blessed me with many creative talents and I'm so happy to share some of them with you here at ImageKind.com.

I enjoy working in many different mediums, including Digital Art, Watercolor & Ink Painting, Woodburning, Acrylic Painting, Mixed Media, Sculpture, Decoupage and various Paper Arts, Collage (and other mediums that may strike my fancy!). My work is eclectic; a body of work encompassing many creative ideas inspired by the world around me and things of my past experiences, thoughts and dreams.

I have been writing all of my life. I’m a published author of short stories, prose, poetry and Haiku and have also had my art work published; most recently had my ART WORK purchased for publication in January of 2013. More to be revealed about that at a later date! My most recent published writing (along with some of my art) was in June 2010 in Literacy Head Magazine and Pink Panther Magazine in June AND July 2010.

Other than that, I spend my time cooking and baking (another big passion) and writing my own recipes. I also love reading cookbooks, true crime and biographies. I enjoy spending time at the nearby lake and wildlife park, taking pictures, picnicking and fishing. I love nature and spending time outdoors observing Mother Nature is a special pastime for me.

A note about my Native American inspired works: I am not a registered Native American and don't claim that my art works are made by a Native American. My great grandmother was Cherokee, so it's in my bloodline and in my soul. I have always been drawn to Native American culture and love the legends, the traditions, the art, the totem animals, the people, the stories. I could go on and on. If you have further questions on my Native American inspired art work, feel free to contact me. :)

Just a friendly reminder: I retain the copyright to all of my art work. Buyers do not have the right to use my art work for commercial use or any other purpose beyond their own home decor. I do not give permission for my art works to be copied, altered, enhanced or changed in any way. Purchasing a print or other art work from me does not mean you are purchasing the copyright. All designs and compositions are owned by me.

I have been selling my art work online since 2000 from my official website:
