A newlywed since 2013 and recently retired, Cheryl Wallace picked up a paintbrush in August, 2015 and hasn't been able to put it down
Born in the San Fernando Valley, California Cheryl graduated college with a degree in vocal performance, married, and had a son and daughter before moving to Tempe, Arizona in 1979. A dental office manager for over thirty years, she is now using her new found time and stored up creative energy to paint with watercolors. In her first six months, she hand painted over 35 individual Christmas, birthday and wedding cards. Many of her paintings are taken from the photographs of her husband - a very talented photographer, Joel Wallace.

Most of the photographs included in this gallery were taken by Joel Wallace. Fine Art America provides an opportunity to share his favorite photographs. He has had local recognition with "Passau Passages" Shot in Passau, Germany. The image reveals layers of detail - peek in the shop window, read the words on the billboard which translated mean, Which way to America.

Cheryl is a woman of faith and has prayed her way through this new adventure leaving the outcome to the original Creator: to Him be the glory and honor. It is the prayer of Cheryl and Joel that these offerings will bless you.
