Artist Statement Photography has been a passion of mine since my father gave me my first camera back in 1977. It was so much fun to take pictures of everything I saw! But as I grew older I began to realize the value of the photograph. As friends moved away never to be seen again I began to treasure the photos I had collected of our times together, and of the places I would never visit again.

Photography, for me, began as just a hobby, something I did for my own enjoyment. But over time I began to feel that there was more to taking pictures than just creating a memento, I began to see the art behind the picture, and I hope to capture and share the beauty of the world around us with my camera.

Some of the photographs I have taken I have transformed into other mediums which I have uploaded here to share with you.
