Artist Statement I worked for years as a photographic technician in London and Amsterdam. I like to use my own line-drawn images/designs, then combine them with digital techniques.

I like ethnic art, particularly from Asia and the middle-east. I adore the Safavid period of Persia, (now northern Iran) and Indian miniatures of the Mogul era. The graphic qualities of Utagawa Hiroshige the great ukiyo-e artist of Japan are also a source of inspiration.

In western art I enjoy the work of Beardsley, Matisse, Picasso and of course Vincent Van Gogh.
