Description This is part 2 of the series. Initially I intended the blue character to be male and the pink one to be female, but I feel they're pretty ambiguous and could go either way depending on how you look at them. This character is pretty much saying 'feel my pain'. The background just 'appeared', so you tell me! I have a thing for pyramids and triangles, so you'll find them in my paintings somewhere. I have to take a better pic of this painting.
Ruben Trevino, San Antonio Member Since January 2008 Artist Statement I'm a welder by trade but would love to work full time as an artist.I am happily married with wonderful children. Hopefully this year will be THE YEAR!!! I used to draw photo like images of people with pencil, but while i was bored in class,i would draw the weirdest shape i could come up with. I found this to be very satisfying. When my art teacher introduced me to cubism i felt "FREE" and never looked back! I work mainly with color pencil and oil pastel, but i soon want to work with oils and big scale paintings.I play guitar and would love to merge the two arts in a unique way one day. Since i'm a welder, sculptures shouldnt be too far behind either. LIVE WELL,DONT BE AFRAID OF 2012 AND A GRAPEFRUIT IS A LEMON THAT HAD A CHANCE AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!!
