Description Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, also known as the Federal Territory Mosque, is one of the major new mosques in the city of Kuala Lumpur.The Masjid Wilayah mosque was built from the inspiration of the previous prime minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir Mohammad and was constructed by the government from March 1996 until August 2000 which ended costing about RM255 million to build.The Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan stands on a 13.4 hectare property with 47,000 square meters of floor area.
