Artist Statement I have been painting much of my life. I love it. I am so inspired by the lush landscapes, pristine sugar sand beaches, impeccable architecture in and around Naples; the low county of South Carolina; Intracoastal waterways and marshes all along east and west coast of Florida.
My techniques have been shaped by studies with mentors and instructors notably: Randy Pitts, Eileen Corse, Sylvia Moore, Dian Felder, Helen Moody and Dreama Tolle Perry.

Well, let’s start with the name. Julie Finch. It’s not my given name.....but it’s the one currently I'm rolling with. AKA Julie Wells (one most of you know me as) I grew up in Jacksonville Florida. Started a family here. Shortly after moved to Naples Florida where I lived for 12 years and loved every minute. It is Paradise!!! My life has recently brought me back to my roots, family and the place I call home, Jacksonville. I am a lover of Life. Love my Children. They are treasures and I believe they are my "greatest" gift to the world. I am truly blessed! I've often been accused of wearing rose colored glasses.......
I believe every day is a choice, I just choose to have PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) and you can too.........
And I Love Art! Through my art I hope it will bring you much joy!!
