Artist Statement I am an art teacher and coach. I have been involved in the creation of visual art for over fifteen years on a private basis and as a practicing artist in Trinidad and Tobago. I have worked on many art camps for kids and my students have had successes as junior artists an mural painters. I have done set designs for plays and stage design for CARIFESTA IV &V region al celebrations. I am one of the co-founders of CANVAS Caribbean, which is an artist support group for Visual Arts Graduates of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. I am the founder the Trinidad and Tobago Digital Art Foundation 2010. My portfolio includes work in new media, as well as traditional methods of drawing, painting and sculpture. My work is in human figure, portraits, social, religious and abstract themes.
