Artist Statement Hi! My name is Ekaterina Kuznetsova (Scald Katteri is my artistic nickname) and this is my portfolio page. I was born in 1975, Saint Petersburg, Russia, in family of artists. I studied arts in Saint Petersburg Academy of arts school and then studied restoration and conservation of paintings in St.Petersburg restoration Roerich’s college of arts. Exhibiting works since 1999. Some my works can be found in private collections in Russia, Great Britain, Spain, est. Since 1997 I am working as a book illustrator, was published in Russia and Europe. Interested in jewelry, photography, print and digital arts. Worked in St.Petersburg museum of old-fashion printed arts that located in Petropavlovsky fortress in tSt.Petersburg. Also worked in St.Petersburg VITA NOVA PUBLISHERS http://www.vitanova.ru/ Rare Book Workshop. Today I am working not only as a graphic artist, but also as a hand bookbinder. Since 2009 I lead my own Art-Artefact studio http://www.art-artefact.ru/
I am the member of Designer Bookbinders society and The World Photography Organisation (WPO)
