Artist Statement As a photographer, I strive to capture the "Suchness" of reality, the "voice" of inanimate objects, the beauty in that which appears, on the surface, not to be beautiful, and the juxtaposition of light and form creating the atmosphere of a moment . . . all intrigue my sensibilities.

I’ve been photographing for over forty years – way before point & shoot cameras came on the scene and eons prior to smart phone photo technology. My background is in art and my photos are taken with an eye for the subject, its composition and the emotional content of the image. The photographer is first and foremost a “seer” – one whose awareness is essential to the content and quality of the photo. Communication then is possible to a wider audience – you the observer.

I’ve also used my photographs to create fun T-shirts that you can purchase at (Wag & Woo Artistic T-shirt Designs).

If you like dogs and cats and odd, peculiar imagery, you’ll enjoy my website.
