Artist Statement Kimberly Ropson is a self-taught Canadian artist whose unique work portrays authentic Newfoundland and Labrador.

She grew up in Great Harbour Deep on Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula and credits the now resettled fishing community with her sharpened artistic eye and deepened desire to express Newfoundland’s rugged beauty in her work.

Her unique style of painting captures images that reflect the culture and integrity of the province. Her expressive skies and expansive landscapes awaken your senses and create a foundation for captivating images.

Kimberly's paintings have been on display in galleries throughout the province and have sold nationally and internationally.
