Artist Statement I was born in rural Louisiana – 1979. My husband Josh and I live on the same land on which I was raised. Many of these gallery images are captured during quiet moments right in my backyard. I am at a place in my life where seeing the beauty in every moment comes quite naturally. I have always loved taking pictures of simple things and moments. These are my moments in which I see emotions, peace, or just the beauty and essence of the moment or person captured. I love doing portrait, landscape and media photography, but most of all I just want to capture moments that make you stop and think about life’s simple beauty.
