Artist Statement Heather is a self-taught photographer who currently resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan with her husband and 2 young sons. She has built a small photography business photographing weddings, children, families & individuals in southwest Michigan. Her specialization is candid portraits of children, whose expressions can be somewhat difficult to capture.

She also dabbles in landscape and still life photography, and is currently working on sunsets.

"Who can resist vibrant colored skies that change with every single sunset?"

Heather occassionally travels to the upstate of South Carolina to visit family. This opens up a whole new opportunity for photographic opportunities.
