Artist Statement I am Hope M. Nagley (aka harvestorm) and I am a self-taught and self-representing artist living in Toledo, Ohio. I am very happily married with four four-legged children: two dogs (Pagan and Buddha) and two cats (Salem and Mischa).

My life has been a wonderful and amazing journey thus far. As a highly curious individual with a very adventurous spirit, I am forever seeking out opportunities to engage in new activities through which I can explore a wide variety of subjects and gain new experiences. In doing so, I have developed a very open and creative mind. I am a student of the world and of life itself.

I have forever been compelled to express that which I feel, but it is only recently that I have ventured into the realm of the visual arts - verbal expressions of creativity have always been my strong suit. To be honest, I have always considered myself to be "creatively challenged" in the area of visual mediums of expression, but then, I have never been one to back away from a challenge. ;-)

My art, and all of that which I create, is an authentic reflection of me, my experiences, my hopes, my dreams, my fears ... and everything in between. What I create are snapshots in time of who I am as an ever-evolving person. It is my hope that my work may bring enjoyment, laughter, healing, and inspiration to all those who encounter it.
