Artist Statement As one who has been documenting military aircraft and their operations for 18 years, I have had the opportunity to travel to various bases and the honor of working with some of the greatest people in uniform. I will forever be in their debt for their inspiration, encouragement and support.

I am currently NATOPS qualified as a select passenger for flight and I have logged over fifty hours in various in high-performance military aircraft and helicopters including the F-14B Tomcat, F/A-18B/D Hornet, F/A-18F Super Hornet, S-3B Viking, TA-4J Skyhawk, F-5F Tiger II, EA-6B Prowler and the SH-60F/H Seahawk. These flights were conducted during operations aboard the aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Nimitz, and USS Harry S Truman as well as Naval Air Stations, Cecil Field, Fallon, Jacksonville, Key West, Lemoore and Oceana. Non-flying assignments have taken me aboard the carriers USS Constellation, USS Enterprise, USS John F. Kennedy and Air Stations Miramar and North Island.
My goal is simple, to provide the best in aviation photography and journalism. In pursuing this mission, my work has been published internationally in such magazines as Air Forces Monthly, Air International, Aircraft Illustrated, Combat Aircraft (UK), Fuerza Aerea (Spain), International Air Power Review, The Hook and Wings of Gold (US). In 2000 I won first place in the Association of Naval Aviation's second bimonthly photo contest and placed second in the annual contest for the same year. My images have been selected for the covers of The Hook (Summer 2006), Air International (May 2002), Wings of Gold (Summer 2000) and World Air Power Journal (Volume 34, Autumn 1998), featured in the US Naval Academy student catalog (2000-2001) and recently chosen for display at the USS Hornet (CVS-12) Museum in Alameda, California. I supplied photographs for the books Tomcat: Shipborne Superfighter by Jon Lake and Carrier Aviation: An Airpower Directory by David Donald and Dan March. Both titles published by AIRTime publishing. I also currently serve as a contributing photographer for The Hook (US) and provide air-to-air photographic services on request for US Navy commands such as Sea Control and Strike Fighter Wings Atlantic.

While I have always relied on Nikon 35mm cameras, lenses, and Fuji slide film to capture my images, in keeping up with the rapidly changing world of imaging, I now depend exclusively upon Nikon digital equipment.
