Barbara creates her works using the mediums of acrylics, and oils on canvas. Her love of color is expressed in the paintings of landscapes, flowers, persons of interest, and anything that happens to capture her interest.
Barbara developed her love of art at an early age, this is truly a gift from God.
Earning her first artist award for a painting entitled "Lead", a clinical commissioned piece by the late Kevin H. White, former Mayor of Boston, MA. This led to a requested commissioned portrait of the Senior Pastor of one of Boston's greatest churches. Barbara was awarded an outstanding artist of 160 participants in the Beacon Hill Gallery Art Walk.
Her piece, "The Last Unicorn", hangs in the home of the late and former United States Surgeon General and Secretary of Health Julius B. Richmond, M.D.
The artist resides in Massachusetts.
