Description This painting is part of a series expressing a moment of love. This is the only one set with forget-me-not flowers, but continues to be one of my favorites. It was created with the ideas of love, the yin-yang balance between couples, and the flowers to symbolize what every lover has has felt when in love, please don't forget about me.
Lisa Orban Member Since June 2012 Artist Statement On a cold and snowy day in February 2012 I was bored. I went into my craft room and found a canvas, some paint, a few brushes and sat down and began to paint. It turned out well, and I enjoyed painting, so I painted another one, and I haven't stopped since.
I have always enjoyed being creative and have used a variety of mediums from pencil & pen to yarn & thread through the years to express myself. In high school I focused mostly on pencil sketches and ink, and won many awards for my work. I stopped sketching, but continued with crafts when my children were young, but now that they have grown into adulthood I find that I now have the time to once again express myself with art (without the fear of my children eating the paints).
I hope that you enjoy these works as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
