Description This Cabin, in the mountains near Oakley Utah, was built by The Silver Fox himself. Waking to pancakes, burgers and corn on the grill for dinner, and a game of horseshoes to pass the time.

Artist Statement Frank Fox, aka The Silver Fox, lived every day of his 95 years with fierce independence, great happiness and unconditional love. Born in April of 1921, Frank was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is here he gained a love for the country, birds, and art. After serving as a Tank Commander in Germany during WWII, where his distinguished service earned him a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, he began drawing and painting in earnest, taking particular interest in Pen and Ink drawings from the Utah countryside. He entered art and hand-crafted hummingbirds into the Utah State Fair, winning awards. Later he began to paint Oil on Canvas with interests in still life and portrait work.
