Artist Statement Hello Everyone,

I am new to the Imagekind community and think it is a wonderfull place. I have always liked to take pictures, even when I was young. I started with a 110 camera my father had given me growing up in the Pittsburgh area. It is something I have done more as keeping track of events in my life than a hobby or an art form. It has been intermittent too. One camera broke, one was stollen. It takes me a while to get another but I always do. Last year I was invited up to Minnesota with some friends to do a little work and some fishing. The work was invigorating in the fall on the border between Minnesota and Canada, the fishing was lousy, but I managed to get some pictures that I think turned out really well. My boss suggested I enter them in a local photo contest, I think it was through the newspaper. When I checked the website I had to give up all rights to the pictures when I entered them. That did not seem right, a few searches online led me here to Imagekind. I see it as a creative outlet. I am working to get some higher resolution images and will update them when they are available. I also have to write some descriptions for my pictures. I am learning, please be patient. Thanks to all those that have said they liked them. I appreciate that, and take care.
