Description Pictured is the northern part of Vilseck's downtown area. There are more businesses located here than in the southern portion of the town. Until September 2007, there was an Italian restaurant located next to the rathaus (essentially, 'city hall') that served the best Garlic Bread in the world (caps done intentionally; it was that good). On my second to last day living in Germany, I noticed a sign on the window that indicated that a greek restaurant, Kreta, was due to open in its place. Having been to Greece and having eaten some real Greek food, I can't complain about that choice, especially if the ownership decides to keep that amazing Garlic Bread.
This picture was taken from directly below the Vilseck tower, hence the title of this photograph.Have a great day.
