Description On a hot, dry day in Sedona, Arizona, my husband and I went on a long hike and spotted this amazingly vibrant flower. We have since learned that each flower has a few hours of amazing glory before the sun gets too hot, then it wilts and dies. The next morning, it is again renewe. We caught it at it's peak!
Kristen Winters, Russells Point Member Since November 2007 Artist Statement I began taking pictures a few years ago during travels with my husband. We vowed to try to see each place only once, and it has been fun having these pictures to remember our destinations. Most of them are landscapes and waterscapes because I have found that nothing is more beautiful than nature, I just capture it on film. I hope you enjoy them too!
