Why do I make art:
Somewhere between the spirit and the natural world, between God and science, is the Ideal, found in the overlooked everyday details. I work the way I do because I feel immersed in the matrix of life, whether it is a flurry of plankton moving around me in the sea or a cloud of cottonwood seeds floating by, life is everywhere, thriving, moving, coursing, like a Van Gogh sky, so I am compelled to capture it!
