Artist Statement B.G. Gujjarappa popularly known as Gujjar. I was a cartoonist/illustrator/caricaturist. I was working for news papers like Lankesh Patrike, Deccan Herald for over twenty two years. I have worked for Multimedia companies like Kirloskar Multimedia, NIIT-Delhi and Phoenix Global solutions as a Project manager and a Graphic consultant. I have Illustrated and designed covers for over 1000 books for children and assorted books. I have also written, illustrated and published six books for children.
I have won many national and International awards for my cartoons and books.
Right now I am into painting full time
