Artist Statement Katherine was a seasoned traveler, which is where she got a lot of her creative influences. From the Caribbean, Spain, the Medditerrian, French and Mexican Rivieras, just to name a few.
She was a self-taught visionary with color pencils. Her artwork is very colorful, lively and fun. She specializes in figurative drawings.
Katherine began drawing in1997 from a small cartoon character calendar. Her drawings were precise on a large scale. With a little encouragment she began to use life experiences as her influence. In 1999 she started The Art of Giving, Inc. business with her daughter Donna.
Her heart is in every drawing, and I know you will love it.
