Description Glaciers feed the Zeravshan river in Tajikistan, near the southwest border of Kyrgyzstan. From a distance, the glacier valleys look like fingers. In the area shown, Zeravshan is also a frozen glacier most seasons.
Scott Reese, New Smyrna Beach Member Since April 2011 Artist Statement I've always enjoyed photography, particularly black & white scenery shots. Flying over the mountains of Central Asia provided amazing views and great opportunities to share through photographs. The photos in my galleries are primarily mountains and glaciers of the Pamir, Alay & Tien Shan ranges in the Central Asia region. Peaks range up to 24,590 feet, and are a part of what is sometimes called "The Roof of the World." I hope you enjoy the scenes.
