Artist Statement When I was a child my mother would wake me up saying, “This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it". I now realize the power of that simple Bible verse. Unconsciously I began the day seeking joy, and I still do.

My images reflect the joy I find in the world around me. I am a freelance Graphic Designer and photographer and I also work for the Chesapeake Public Library system in Virginia . I find joy in what I do and in the people I work with.

I have a husband, two sons, a mother, a sister, and friends who all love me. I am truly blessed.
