Eija K J E L I N, Helsinki Member Since June 2008 Artist Statement Life is constant changing - every second is different from the one before or the one that follows. Yet they have something incommon. A photograph stops time, yet it's not lifeless, but speaks many stories, depending on the viewer. And depending what stories we link into the picture, it surprisingly changes in front of our eyes.
I like photographs where something fresh is revealed from something common or even mundane. I like simplicity. I like photographs with emotion. I like photographs with intellect.
I'm a self-educated, enthusiast learner. I appreciate photographing for reasons above, but also as it gives me pure joy!
Thank you for visiting my gallery, I hope my pictures give you joy.
