Artist Statement Photos that tell a story !! That is what I’m all about. ......

There are two types of photos :
Some photos are great for greeting cards ......
Some photos are great for large prints. ...... ===================================================

It should be obvious that some of these greeting card images have been created by merging more than one photo. ......
My first gallery is a collection of some of my greeting cards. ......
The second gallery is a collection for larger prints. ......
I have over 200 greeting cards so I will be "revising the deck" as the seasons and holidays approach, so check in again. .......
All of my work is based on photos with attention to details because every “story” is built upon the details. .......
I search for unique photo-ops, angles, framing of subjects, etc. ...... Photos should include the main subject’s “context/surroundings” and not be “just another empty headline”. ......
I search for uniqueness in the nature that is all around us. ...... I find it in the birds and animals including our dogs and cats as well as in the views of lakes, woods, and farmer’s fields. ......
Some of my greeting cards illustrate humor which can be found everywhere, and especially in the birds and animals. .......
There are cards for holidays, special occasions, some are sad and some are joyful. .......
There are cards to “just say hi” to a friend … We all need “to say hi” more often and in a form that lasts longer for days and not just the few minutes on a phone call. .....
