Description This is Boston architecture in winter. It was taken on a brief self-guided photographic tour of the city. I was crossing a bridge down by where the Boston Tea Party occurred, and looked up to see this sight. The heliotropic plant in the window caught my eye, as it is reaching for the sunlight in a wall of windows blinded to keep the sun out. There are political, socioeconomic, and religious metaphors to be drawn, but it is up to the viewer to do so.
Enlightened Fellow, California Member Since January 2007 Artist Statement I travel widely, and take photos of the world I see, which I think is nicer than the one on television. It is my desire that long after I have ceased to walk this planet, my photos will remain and enlighten those who see them to the world as it was in my eyes.
