Description King Herod was a master Architect. As a result he built several monumental projects in his life. Caesarea Maritima was one of the world's earliest planned cities. He took a coastal area of the Mediterranean Sea and built a city where he had a 3000 seat theatre and other amenities. This photo shows part of the ruins of his personal palace. In it he built hot tubs and an olympic size fresh water swimming pool that was housed in the Mediterranean Sea.

I have been privileged to travel quite a bit through my life. In those travels I have attempted to capture shots that are worthy of attention. I hope you enjoy them.
