Artist Statement I've been an editorial / news photographer for more than 25 years in newspapers in North East England.

Istarted as an apprentice of course, and over the years graduated to Chief Photographer and then to Picture Editor.

I took the company through from black and white to colour to digital ... and amazing time in many respects to see such changes in a (relatively) small space of time.

In 2003 I took redundancy and set up my own company offering coverage to Public Relations companies throughout the UK for coverage in the North East of England, while developing reportage weddings and lifestyle portraiture to compliment the business.

I just love photography and have been in love with the genre and have been part of it for more than 30 years now.
