Artist Statement I was born and raised in San Francisco where I spent my youthful days at school, at work, on a skateboard, and behind the turntables as a DJ. I moved to Los Angeles to attend Cal State Long Beach for civil engineering. Currently, I work as an engineer for a design firm in downtown Los Angeles and spin records 3-4 times a month at venues in the Los Angeles area.

Became interested in photography when my sister was too lazy to be the usual photographer at a family outing. After a few years I bought my first digital SLR and started taking pictures. I was teaching myself, picking up advice and lessons from other photographers that I met over the years. I finally decided to take courses at Santa Monica College and I am still currently taking more courses to learn the basics and create my own style.
