Artist Statement I am a newly emerging artist seeking to learn, connect, and grow in my work. I believe that the spiritual connection a person makes to artwork is profound. Looking at a creation and not only seeing but also feeling the work is what every artist strives to accomplish with their craft.

My preferred avenues are painting and photography. The merging of the artist, the brush, and the paints culminating in a finished piece is the elation that gets me out of bed in the morning. My work is a reflection of who I am, who I have been, and who I will become. It is a look inside my soul, and I hope that you will find it captivates you with the same passion it has me. Photography brings another bit of magic into my life. Being able to capture a second in time and produce it in an image for the world to experience is pure joy. Everyone has moments that they would like to freeze in time and hold on to forever, I have the joy of being able to do that for my audience. A quiet, slumbering winter's day... a forest giving way from summer to autumn... an ocean displaying it's majestic beauty and power...
