Artist Statement Im a painter/artist who really digs all mediums. I studied with Roberta 'nels' Nelson in high school at romulus central school and then went to the academy of art in san francisco for a bit for fine art and illustration. I do commisions and personal works. Portraits, murals, illustration, editorial illustration and cover work. Cd covers also. some of my billions of influences are Gustav Klimt,alex ross, miles teves, brian bolland, michaelangelo's sculpture, davincis painting, joe jusko, wendy pini, john romita, john buscema, ralph mcquarrie, waterhouse, la trec, goya, alan lee, andrew wyeth, matt stawicki, geez i could go on forever...oh and by far the most influential would be album cover artist DEREK RIGGS! he brainwashed me from the age of 8 yrs old and still does. thanks!---chris
