Description Horses on the High Plains of New Mexico. Scents of Cedar and sweet-grass fragrant the southern winds across the vast plateaus ad mesas. Original photography used for this wood burning was taken in Northern New Mexico. The horses were curious of their visitors and stood patiently to have their picture taken. The foot hills and mountains in the background add depth and perception. This print is available in all sizes.
Brenda Doberstein, Central Wisconsin Member Since January 2012 Artist Statement I love the beauty of nature. The color mixed with depth of earthly landscapes stirs the creative soul with-in. Each sunset, every sunrise is a humbling experience of beauty.
The power of a elk with each stride showing beauty and grace . The flight of a soaring Bald Eagle with each powerful winged accent is poetry in motion. I try to bring this emotion in each art work regardless the media source.
I truly love this way of life. The path of a natural artist. With each stroke of the brush, with each color in hand I relive the experience again. It brings me both peace and joy.
