Artist Statement I am a self-taught artist who has been doing oils and china painting for 30 years. The last 25 years I have been painting tile for homes and businesses using china paints. I enjoy working with the china paint best because it is a medium that once fired, is permanent. It will not fade or come off the tile or porcelain dishes unless you are taking the glaze off the item.
