Artist Statement My name is Stephanie and I very recently took up the art of photography. I have always considered myself to be a creative person but had never found a forum to grip my short attention span. I began about a year ago and am currently using my first digital SLR...an Olympus Evolt 510... and I am loving every minute.

This camera has become my window to the world. It has taught me to see everything through "a new lens" and forces me to look at even the most minute details of what's around me. As I search for that perfect closeup or that humbling nature scene I am constantly reminded that the world is already such a beautiful place. Now all I need to do is share my photographs so that everyone else will stop and look at the beauty around them. It's my little way of making the world a better place... One snapshot at a time.

That being said...I am thrilled to share my photographs with you. I have made some of my favorites available here for you to enjoy.
