Description This painting is a collaboration with my daughter, Wren. I loved her little sheep, so cute and innocent, and I thought that even a wolf might go against his nature after looking in those big eyes. The wolf, wearing a sheepskin, wants to play and be like the sheep. In the meantime, Little Red Riding Hood walks unmolested into the deep forest.
Asha Hawkesworth, Gresham Member Since August 2016 Artist Statement I love to paint and write. I am the author of several children's books, including "Grandma's Roses" and "Don't Bother Boris!" My art is inspired by the natural world, the realm of spirit, and my own children, who have collaborated with me on occasion. I currently reside in Oregon with my family and quite a few cats. In addition to painting, I love to work in my garden, bake, and enjoy the comforts of home.
