Artist Statement originally from New Zealand, I arrived in Ibiza in 2001 for a 1 week holiday and fell in love with the island (like many do) and ended up staying 6 months! There is something very special about the white isle and from this time I knew I would eventually live here. Having spent many a season here since 2001, I finally took the plunge and moved here permanently in 2005... I had a dream, I had a vision, I took a risk... I wanted to challenge myself to pursue my creative bent.... and what better place to do than Ibiza... the mix of cultures, energy, creativeness, stunning light, diversity and much more has kept me here and slowly I am creating a small brand, a range of my own products that are unique to me, express my style and mood... trudy en ibiza... paintings, jewellery, decorative items, recycled furniture, handmade cards and more....

Photography has become a passion and ibiza is a stunning island with clear pure light and is always full of surprises.
