Description If I could Be Where You Are is #3 in the carousel horse series. In this painting I also wanted to give the viewer a sense of wonder and reflections of childhood memories. As a child I always wished I could dash off to the nearest galaxy and discover new things that no one had ever seen. I think this horse would be perfect to take along on the trip!

Artist Statement It seems as though art started for me before I was able to walk. It has always been a constant in my life in one form or another. I remember when I was young looking at all the great artwork I would see in books thinking "one day I'll be able to do that". I think I've achieved that dream in one form or another. I primarily work in colored pencil, Prismacolor being my favorite. From time to time, I will branch out into other mediums such as watercolor and pastels, but I always find my way back to the pencils. I've been working in the art field professionally since 1993. I started as a mural artist and then branched out as a graphic artist. Fine art has always been my first love. That is why this site is dedicated to just that, my fine art.
