Artist Statement Welcome! I am just a chick who has this need to create. I grew up on a farm in North Dakota, and in 2008 opened a small store that will eventually be the home to more original art pieces - my own and consigned. ( http://www.myspace.com/artsygrrl2002 )



I currently drive family crazy snapping pics while on vacation. I love to frame the subject, play with depth and various angles we don't generally observe. Often my camera is way above my head in a tree as I blindly shoot, hoping to catch what I think would be a "cool" pic. If you see me, feel free to laugh when I squeal! I've also gotten odd looks as I repeatedly set my camera on the gravel, push the button, and see what I got!



I also enjoy working with acrylics, however I find that I have little time to get to that with running the store. I am presently enrolling at a local college as an alumnus, and will audit their ceramics class. Pottery is my true love, and I've been trying to reunite with it for 10 years.



Other interests include: my pets, my house, rockhounding, website creation, karaoke, camping, fishing, and water.
